SWU Delegation to Visit South Korea

From March 21 to 25, 2016, the Party Branch Secretary and Deputy Dean of International College Liu Meng, Dean Zhao Guohua of College of Food Science and International Students Admission Office staff Wang Que visited Ulsan University, Inje University and Konkuk University, South Korea.

The delegation were cordially received by Vice-Presidents from the three Korean universities in charge of exchanges and cooperation, and with the counterparts the delegation had a thorough discussion and exchanged ideas on short-term visiting programs, practice base construction for Masters of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages and other exchange projects. The two sides also had wide-ranging and in-depth discussions and reached much consensus in development of programs taught in English, mutual credit certification during International Summer Camps and other short-term visiting programs, and other topics. At the end of the visit to Konkuk University, the delegation made a special trip to visit two exchange students studying there.

The visit has accomplished the mission of strengthening cooperation and exchanges with our sister universities in South Korea, especially that of promoting SWU and attracting Korean students to come to study on our campus.
